We set up our stage in your space!

Adequate time, space, and audience seating accommodations are necessary for the success of the show. Please read the information below and contact us with questions.

Setup

Our setup team will arrive at least an hour before your show to assemble our stage and take care of any logistics with your representative(s). Typically our stage covers about a 12’ X 12’ area. See the diagram below. We can be somewhat flexible with smaller areas if needed.

It is best if we have at least 8 feet overhead clearance. You can help us maximize our time by reserving parking close to your venue and making sure we have the shortest path to the staging area. It is helpful if a representative from your group can meet with our team upon arrival to direct us to the performance area and acquaint us with access to electrical outlets, sound system (if we are using yours) seating, restroom accommodations, etc. We must have privacy to set up for the show; we cannot set up, test acoustics, and do other prep work while others are in the room.

Seating

Unless your facility offers a raised stage, children will be seated on the floor--in the round--in front of the puppet stage. Adult teachers, aides, chaperones are welcome to sit with the youngsters or may sit on folding chairs arranged so as to not interfere with the viewing. We do our best to make sure everyone can see the puppets. Typically we use quick-release masking tape on the floor to mark the seating area. If tape can't be used on your floor, we ask you to supply or suggest an alternative. Please consider setting up a row (rows) of chairs behind the floor seating for adult attendees.

Tear Down

After the show, we will need 45-60 minutes to store our puppets, strike our staging, and load our vehicle before leaving the premises.
